This program provides identity theft and privacy protection by permanently removing all your personal data from your hard drive. It securely overwrites all of your hard drive data. It even runs if your operating system is no longer working! In addition, DriveWasher provides confirmation that a drive and/or partition has been successfully overwritten, ensuring that your privacy is safe and secure. Not only does DriveWasher comply with most recognized international drive sanitization standards but also complies with the U.S. Department of Defense 5220.22-M standard for disk-sanitization. Plus, advanced settings let you configure your own overwrite patterns using customizable settings. The program supports hard drives of any size and will securely overwrite the entire physical hard drive including operating systems, program files, and all of your data. Or, just select a specific partition to overwrite and keep the remaining partitions intact.
