This tool tells a network administrator what software products are installed on LAN PCs. Networked agents scan hard drives for executable items and analyze the contents. This reports products, not individual executable files. When necessary, a drag-and-drop editor lets you add to or edit the supplied software library. The combination of advanced automatic processing and streamlined user editing produces accurate results with minimal false reports. Although optimized for TCP/IP networks, this program can also scan non-networked PCs by floppy disk.It reports various hardware and configuration details, including CPU type and speed, installed memory, IP address and more.
