This general purpose programmer’s editor can add syntax coloring for new languages from the preferences window. You can customize the function pop-up menu by specifiying a regular expression in the preferences panel. This includes a few examples for Java and C/C++ to get you started. You can also perform find-and-replace tasks using regular expressions. There is even sub-expression support for both function pop-up and searching or saved searches.
