Gnuplot is a well-known scientific plotting application. It supports 2D and 3D plots, scripting, nonlinear least-squares fitting, user-defined functions, a wide variety of graphics formats and other features. Use it to plot both mathematical functions and raw data. Plots can be generated in a large number of formats including PostScript, GIF, PICT, QuickTime movies, ASCII text, Adobe Illustrator, CGM and many others.
