An interesting project, wm2 and wmx are more of someone sticking to their philosophy. There are no icons, no launchpad, nothing to configure whatsoever. This window manager will scare the pants off the newbie. Every- thing is launched through xterm. All these window managers do is provide a stylish window frame without any pictures whatsoever. If you are looking for a minimalistic approach to your X sessions, this is for you.
