This program combines intrusion detection and prevention, a multi-inspection firewall and a vulnerability scanner in one system. The Web-based management tool can also be used to provide extensive protection to subsidiaries and field offices. The event correlation feature checks whether an attack could be carried out on the target system. This decision is based on defined system attributes or the vulnerabilities detected by the vulnerability scanner. Which attacks should be blocked and which should only be logged can be configured by rules, or through the auto-prevention function.
