This is the GNU C compiler with support for ANSI C, K C, C++ and Objective C included. GCC provides many levels of source-code error checking traditionally provided by other tools, produces debugging information and can perform many different optimizations to the resulting object code. This program also contains the back-end for C++ and Objective C compilers.
