This is a Web-based systems information management tool that monitors all business-critical processes in an ICT infrastructure. Trend analysis reports provide data for proactive systems management. In case of problems, EControl Portal offers extended procedures. The program provides actual status monitoring for purposes like troubleshooting, performance management or escalation management. Using the actual status function, the help desk can view the last measured state of the servers, services, applications and devices being monitored. The sampling frequency for each item is configurable ranging from minutes to hours. Servers or services that are unreachable or resources exceeding thresholds are highlighted in the application. Besides visual notifications, EControl Portal can send an e-mail to one person or a group when unexpected events occur or thresholds are reached.
