LOCbook is a Linux based suite of accounting applications targeted at petroleum marketers. While the system is tailored for petroleum distribution and convenience store operators with the Fuel Management and Retail Sales modules, it can be used as a general accounting program for any industry. Full support and software customization is available. This is the only petroleum accounting software for Linux and is available for immediate download as a fully functional version. Developed with IBM Informix 4GL around a relational database management system giving you a system that is simple, flexible, and productive. This is the most affordable accounting software available for petroleum wholesalers, distributors, marketers and c-store operators. LOCbook includes a pricebook barcode scanning program. It currently interfaces with the Gilbarco Passport POS system. The retail pricebook module can be used in the backoffice or from a central site.
