GNU Enscript is a drop-in replacement for Adobe s enscript-ASCII-to-PostScript translation program. GNU enscript converts ASCII files to PostScript and stores the generated output to a file, or sends it directly to the printer. GNU enscript can be configured for other output media types and for customized printouts.
